Lighting Audit Services

How much money are you spending on energy output for your lighting? If you don’t know, then that’s a problem. Depending on when the current light fixtures were installed, lighting could be one of your primary energy uses. If your building doesn’t have air conditioning, it’s probably the main energy draw.

With lighting taking so much energy, energy-efficient commercial lighting could save you a considerable amount of money. Energy savings also reduces a building’s carbon footprint, which is not only better for the environment but can also be a marketing tool when it comes to bringing in potential tenants.

Lighting Decisions

When it comes to improved lighting options for building lighting, only the big news makes it to most people’s ears. “LED retrofits” are two of the biggest buzz words, and rightly so. Considering their bulb lifespan, LEDs can save enormous amounts of money on both the energy and the bulb side.

But just because commercial lighting manufacturers have largely switched from fluorescent lights to LED doesn’t mean that the innovation has stopped. Manufacturers continue to tweak lighting fixtures so that they’re more efficient while making the output even more pleasing to those who are in the building. These little changes are the ones that only those directly involved with the industry hear about, but they can be very important.

Our line card includes more than 20 different lighting manufacturers, including Eaton Lighting, ILP Lighting, MaxLite Lighting Products, Universal Lighting Technologies, and Signify. Do you know which of their products will work best for you and deliver the highest energy savings? With 50 years of combined experience and 20 million square feet of building space retrofitted with more energy-efficient lighting, NES is an industry leader when it comes to commercial lighting supply knowledge. We can help you find the perfect LED retrofits that will match your current hardware and the style you’re looking for, and we’ll always keep in mind the cost savings you want to realize.

Commercial Lighting Supply

When you work with NES Lighting Distributors, you’re not just getting an audit telling you how much energy savings you might experience. And you’re not just getting help with which lights will provide the illumination you need for your particular space. The fact is, we’re going to be part of your supply chain and provide the lights that your building requires.

When you work with NES, you don’t have to worry about deciding which manufacturer to go with, take the time to establish relationships with them, or negotiate prices. We’ll handle all of that, leveraging the decades of experience we have to get you the perfect lighting for your building.

LED Retrofit Lighting Incentives

You’ve probably heard that there are incentives for outfitting your property with more energy-efficient lighting. But do you know how to fully take advantage of them? NES Lighting does.

The fact is, lighting incentives are confusing. It’s not enough that you replace your fluorescent tubes with LED lamps, it’s that you have to replace them with the right ones. Only certain hardware will qualify for the incentives, and purchasing the lamps through anyone other than a qualified commercial lighting supplier will disqualify you from such incentive savings.

NES Lighting has extensive experience with these incentives and will handle them for you. The most common lighting incentive programs we deal with are the Massachusetts Upstream Incentives, Rhode Island Upstream Incentives, Connecticut Upstream Incentives, and New York Midstream Incentives.

Are You Ready To Retrofit?

No matter whether you’re working on a bones-up remodel of a building or are simply looking for LED retrofits for existing high bay or recessed lighting, NES Lighting Supply is ready to help you make the most of the process from start to finish. We’ll perform the lighting audit, help you choose the right lighting, negotiate the best price with manufacturers, provide the right fixtures, and help you take full advantage of the lighting incentives.
